This Cat Surrender/Stray Agreement (“Agreement”) is made between the Surrendering Owner/Agency and The Cats’ Cradle, or Burke County Animal Control and The Cats' Cradle. By signing this Agreement, the

Surrendering Owner/Agency voluntarily and irrevocably surrenders all ownership rights, possession rights, and any future claims to the following cat described below.

Note: Burke County Animal Services (ph. 828-764-9588) must be notified within 24 hours of a stray cat being taken into care by a Cats’ Cradle volunteer. After being taken in, all strays must be held for 72-hours (3-day) pursuant to the Burke County, North Carolina Animal Ordinance General Statute (Sec. 6-10 (a)(c)(h)) before they become adoptable through The Cats’ Cradle.
