Adoptions

The Cats’ Cradle is a foster-based cat rescue dedicated to finding loving, permanent homes for abandoned and homeless cats throughout the Unifour region of western North Carolina. By partnering with compassionate foster families and community supporters, The Cats’ Cradle provides safe, nurturing environments where cats can heal, grow, and prepare for adoption. Its mission is to reduce feline homelessness and create a future where every cat is valued and cared for.

The cost for fully vetting a kitten and/or cat that enters The Cats’ Cradle foster program varies depending on the condition of each cat when rescued and the cost for any medical treatment to make them read to be adopted to the public. Each kitten and cat in our care is tested for Feling Leukemia/HIV, spayed or neutered, vaccinated for distemper, Feline  Leukemia/HIV, and rabies, and provided flea and/or parasite treatment if needed. To offset some of the vetting cost and to assist with food and litter cost, our kittens and cats are available for the following fees:

Adoption Fees:

Kittens 12 months old or less: $140 each

Adult Cats (1-5 years old): $140 each

Senior Cats (6-plus years old): $44 each
